Let’s get connected!

Looking for a community of faith? Connect Groups & Short-Term Bible Studies at FBC are gospel-centered communities living on mission together. Join and you’ll be connected to Jesus, the church, and the world as you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and what it means to become more like Jesus in your daily life.

When we moved to Cumming, we didn’t know anyone and knew immediately that we needed to get plugged into a church. At that time, we were newly married with no kids in a new town. We found our place in the Young Pros class. As more young couples came to check out the church, there were others in the same life stage and we quickly bonded with them.

That was in 2015. We now have young children, and our current group is called “Pairs and Parents”, which includes both couples with and without kids in their 30s and 40s. We support each other, love on each other, and are truly like family. We don’t have any family close by so these are the people that we do life with. We simply would not feel supported in this community without FBC and our Connect Group.

“After joining a Connect Group my relationships deepened and I was able to share my struggles with a couple ladies from that Group who prayed for me and held me accountable.” - FBC Member

Connect Groups have been vital to my spiritual journey. After transitioning from volunteering in FirstKidz back to the adult world, I realized I needed a place to grow and be accountable. My husband was already involved in a men's group, so instead of interrupting his spiritual growth, I sought my own community. Ladies’ S.O.S. (Single on Sunday) was the perfect fit! It’s a group that loves God, wants to dive deeper into His Word, and equips me to share His hope with others. Beyond that, I found a supportive community that loves and cares for one another through life’s ups and downs. Plus, we enjoy food together every week! I highly encourage everyone who walks through our doors to find a Connect Group that fits your spiritual and personal needs. There’s nothing like the feeling of belonging, and we have so many groups ready to welcome you in and help you grow in Christ.
